Hi everyone, I'm beginning to think I should have renamed May hair month on my blog as I feel like I have reviewed a lot of hair products this month! Anyway I got the Ojon hair repair serum in a beauty box a while ago and have been using it since and I felt now I could give my opinions on it.
The serum itself is quite thin in consistency and has a little pipet so you can dispense just a couple of drops (and believe me that is all you need!)
The serum is pretty much scentless.
Once you have a couple of drops in your palm I rubbed my hands together to warm the serum and give even distrabution.
You can use this serum on wet or dry hair, but with most oils and serums I prefer to first use them on damp hair.
All in all I felt this was a pretty average serum. It isn't something I would recomend or repurchase but it does the job.
I haven't noticed any great difference in my hair and there have been products that I have used this last couple of months that I nothiced a difference with almost instantly so for me this is a product that I feel I will stop using and maybe give to someone as like most products different products work differently and someone may get use out of it!
What products wouldn't you recomend or repurchase?
Hi, thank you for visiting my blog. I will be posting reviews on all the latest beauty finds, some old favorites and products that are new to me. You can follow me on Twitter @beautybargains2 and please don't forget to subscribe to my blog. Any feedback will be grately received Thanks again

Glossybox Anniversary May Box
Hi everyone, I didn't review the Joliebox on here this month so I thought I would do the Glossybox instead.
And the first product this month is.........
Noble Isle Summer rising bath and shower gel. The scent of this shower gel is supposed to evoke the beginnings of summer. I have to be honest, it didn't make me feel summery and to me was an average, run of the ill shower gel, next please!!
Lolita Lempicka L'Eau en blanc and Eau de Parfum. Two perfume samples (can you feel the excitment I'm feeling right now!) These are to be fair quite nice smelling samples, however when the first product is a very average shower gel I kind of want more exciting samples no matter what the size!
Neal's Yard Remedies rehydrating rose daily moisteriser. I have this product and I got it with a magazine. I like it but wasn't intending on repurchasing as it wasn't skin changing for me. I can't grumble at the full size of this product but this one seems to be everywhere at the moment!
Collection 2000 Lasting colour gel eyeliner. Ok, probably the most exciting product in the box had it not been for the colour! This isn't a colour I will get much if any use out of and would've loved the black, oh well!
Eldora False Lashes. Eyelashes are handy! Again if you are a falsie lover you wil be thrilled but I only wear them for odd ocassions and I guess it's nice to have them handy.
All in all this was a disappointing month for me! I maybe had high expectations as it was their birthday box and maybe I expected too much but I wasn't impressed with this months box, even if they included a little mirror for me it didn't cut it and I was left feeling a little like this baloon they popped in for good measure!

OPI Melon of Troy
Hi everyone, I though as I hadn't done a nail of the day type post for a while I would quickly do one and as the title says it is the OPI Melon of Troy polish. This wasn't a shade I'd ever heard of really and I pikced it up in Sally's and then found a reduced sticker on the back so that was a bonus!
The shade itself I first wanted to describe it as a brick red coral colour! I own a few coral polishes and it isn't really like them and I own a coupke of brick reds and it isn't like them so I suppose it is a cross between them!
It took three coats of polish until I was happy with it and I still felt it was a little streaky but I didn't feel another coat would change that!
I have now totally fallen in love with the polish, I feel it really suits my skintone (I am leaning towards the pale side!) and I haven't found a coral type polish that I felt suited me 100% yet but this one does so I am sure I will get a lot of use out of it over the summer!
What's your perfect coral polish?

Tigi Love Peace Planet Save the Earth Straightener & Defrizzer
Hi everyone, I brought this product a few weeks back at TKMax and it was around £3 and as I'd never seen this product before I thought I would give it a try.
The product description says "TIGI Love Peace and the Planet Save the Earth Straightener and Defrizzer is a cinnamon and soy orange scented straightener that will condition as it styles."
The product itself is a fairly thick consistency and similar to that of a hair conditioner and I applied it to damp hair.
The scent may not be to everyones liking but it is not overpowering and once applied to the hair it doesn't smell the same anyway!
My hair can be quite wild at times and this honestly tamed it somewhat! It certainly left my hair very soft and managable and maybe even slightly thickened it. I love the results I got using this product and will continue using it as my heat protectant.
Have you come across any old products you'd never seen before lately?

Babyliss Big hair review
Hi everyone, this review may seem a little behind the times as this product has been around for a while, but truth be told I didn't want to have it a week and rave about it, I wanted it at least a month and have a lot of use out of it before I reviewed it.
The Babyliss Big Hair is basically a large heated hairbrush that you can make rotate either direction giving the effect of how a professional would blow dry it. The brush head itself blows hot air like a hairdryer would.
The blue button you can see controls the heat setting and there are two different heat settings and the black buttons above that control the direction in which the brush head rotates.
I thought at first it would be very hard to control and would get tangled and after watching a few Youtube videos I gave it a go and it was as simple as the videos made it look!
I wandered a few things before I purchased this and here are the questions and answers.
How wet/dry does my hair have to be to use it? I would say 80-90% dry for the best result.
Are the direction controls difficult to get the hang of? Not at all! After 2 uses I had got the hang of them and believe me hair is not what I'm good at!
Can it get caught/tangled in your hair? I have got it tangled in my hair but I simply changed the direction of the head and it untangled itself, it really won't happen often.
Does it really give great results? For me yes! I think this product gives me the nearest result to a proper blow dry as I will ever get at home.
Does the head get really hot? Not at all. It gets pleasently warm and I have never ever burnt my fingers on it and I don't think it would be possible to!
Is it worth it? I feel it is worth it, especially if like me you like the blowdried look and find blowdrying your hair a bit of a task!
Is it really that easy to use? Yes! I am rubbish at blowdrying my hair and this made it look like I had blowdried it and it really couldn't be easier to use.
This has changed how I style my hair and my straightners haven't been out of my drawer since I got this, if like me you love a blow dried look and find it difficult to create at home then this is for you!
Do you own this or anything similar and what do you think of it?

Inecto pure coconut glossing spray review
Hi everyone, I'm back with my third and final review of the Inecto pure coconut range and this time it is the glossing spray from their coconut range.
This says to use on damp or dry hair but to use a little on dry hair and by a little they mean a little! I tried this on a few different occassions and tried it rubbed into the palms of my hands or spritzing it from a distance and so just got a very fine mist on my hair and it was still too much, it made my hair look greasy and so I used more on damp hair before drying and had a much better experience! It worked well on damp hair, again though you don't need much and it smelt lovely but the product in itself didn't wow me! I think it's best use is on damp hair before styling.
If you are looking for a good shine spray I would stick to one like the Bedhead range as I have one from them and I love it, I won't be repurchasing this.
Have you used a good glossing spray lately and what is your favourite?

Inecto Coconut shampoo and conditioner review
Hi everyone, I'm back as promised with a review of the Inecto coconut shampoo and conditioner. I have been using these for a few weeks and felt I could now give you a full review.
These were on offer from Superdrug so I purchased the whole range and I really liked the hair mask so had high hopes for these products.
These smell lovely, if you don't like coconut it goes without saying you will not like them! I however love the smell in shampoos and body lotions and these do have a great scent that you get odd whiffs of during the day.
Since using these my hair is softer and has a nice shine to it. You won't get the same results as higher end products but you do get one of the nicest results from high street prices and you get a lot for your money so all in all if it was between this and Herbal Essence for example then I would advise the Inecto range.
What's your favourite high street shampoo and conditioner?

Amarya beauty box May
Hi everyone, I have decided to try a new beauty box and maybe cancel my subscription to another one as my tastes are changing and I kept reading about Amarya's beauty box and was so curious that in the end it got the better of me and I subscribed!
You only get four samples in the box but that's fine for me as long as they are good quality, size and samples I will get use from then I don't mind. Let's have a look in the box.
Terre d'Oc Gloss Sublime Shine Lip Gloss. This was in shade 306 Cerise Kuta. This is quite a thick gloss, I only swatched it but haven't used it on my lips yet so can't comment too much on this. It has a slight cherry scent to it and seems a fairly nice shade.
Lavera All Round Cream. I was really happy to see this product in the box as I really like the Lavera hand cream I received in another beauty box. This looked almost like a mouse consistency when I opened it but was like a thick moisteriser when I tried it. It has organic shea butter and almond and is a lovely cream. I love all round creams and this smells gorgeous so I will use this.
AD Skin Synergy Nourish Night Treatment Face Oil. I'm in the market for new night products so I'm happy to try this. It says it is packed with anti-ageing ingrediants including rosehip oil and is an award winning product. This smells amazing and I think it will be lovely left to sink in overnight and I'm really looking forward to using this tonight.
Tous H20. This is described as a light floral fragrance with organic lavender and lemon. I'm never keen on getting perfume samples (I don't think many people are) but that all changes when I get sent a scent I actually like! This is only the second time I have got a perfume sample I thought I would use and once I've tested this on all day tomorrow if it stays good on then I may purchase it, I like the scent that much!
All in all a nice box that has mostly products I will use in it and a couple I'm very escited about. What was your favourite product from the box?

Latest in beauty CEW box
Hi everyone, I received my Latest in beauty CEW box today and after being sad that I missed two previuos boxes I wanted I did a little whoop when I got there in time to order this one, it is an amazing box so let's get right on with it.
Mont Blanc Legend Eau de Toilette and Elie Saab La Parfum. I know a lot of people are unhappy when they receive perfume samples and I can't say I really like them that often but the Elie Saab perfume is beautiful and I think most people will love the scent-I can see why it was a finalist nomination for best womens scent.
The aftershave smells really nice too and my husband will be getting this and instructed to trial run it tomorrow night! I like the scent when sprayed on the card so will hopefully like it on and it is really nice to get a little something for him too!
L'Occitane Immortelle Brightening Hand cream SPF15. Another amazing brand and the immortelle range is so good that it is nice to get a hand cream from that range as I have never tried the hand cream from that range before.
Nails Inc Porchester Square nail polish. A great all round crown pleaser, a great brand, a lovely everday shade that most people will like and use. It is described as a chic muted mushroom shade and I like most love it.
Elemis Pro-Collagen Body Cream. One of my all time favourite brands and again another product that I am yet to try. Elemis do such lovely products and they are very luxurious and I will without a doubt enjoy using this product. It says on the description it deeply hydrates and illuminates skin which is great while I'm trying to prep my body for summer!
Weleda Pomegranate Firming Day Cream. I have never tried anything from this brand before and this cream sunk in beautifully and smelt fantastic. It was nomintaed for the Eco Beauty Award so that has to be great and I can't wait to use this product.
Verdict: This box was amazing, perhaps the best all round beauty box there is. The samples were all a very luxurious size and all products that are useful.
I also really liked how Latest in beauty let you see the box before you order and the option to build your own when you fancy trying something new. I will be ordering through them again and am really looking forward to see what the next themed box is.
What did you get in your box?
I'm going in the order the products are on the card. The first product we have is the Liz Earle Cleanse and polish. Everybody has heard of this and this has had amazing reviews everywhere and so I'm not surprised to see it in the box, I'm so happy it is and it even came with the muslin cloth, amazing product.
Percy and Reed dry conditioner. I was reading up on these in a magazine this week and was really thinking of trying them so again I was really happy to get this sample. I have read you are meant to put this only on the mid-lengths of your hair to stop it weighing your hair down so I will be trialing this tomorrow.Mont Blanc Legend Eau de Toilette and Elie Saab La Parfum.
